PVC Cover Boards
PVC cover boards are intended to cover existing fascia boards to protect them from rot, infestation and general deterioration. As with PVC soffits and fascias, these cover boards require little maintenance and provide a secure, long-lasting seal against all weather and environment conditions.
A Range of Sizes and Shapes
Our range of cover boards come in various shapes and sizes to suit your requirements.
Our flat-backed square cover boards or fascias measure 9 x 9 mm and are ideal for overcapping existing sound timber backing. The square return leg accommodates lay-on soffits. This board requires a timber backing board.
The board is measured externally; therefore a 200mm cover board will cover 191mm of existing timber. The return leg measures 35mm overall (26mm internally).
We also stock PVC ogee cover boards which, with their more moulded profile, offer a more decorative finish within the bottom corners. These kinds of cover boards can probably be seen on many older buildings, as well as new builds that wish to emanate a more traditional style. They can look particularly pleasing when combined with ogee guttering.
Our 9mm bullnose cover boards are ideal for covering internal window bottoms, as they have a thick profile for overcapping a range of standard widths. They have a rounded lower edge and an easy push-fit installation method.
Measured externally, a 200mm bullnose board will cover 191 mm of existing timber. The return leg measures 30-35mm overall and 14-26mm internally.
Cover Board Colours
Our PVC cover boards are available in white, rosewood, mahogany, light oak and black ash. They are also incredibly easy to install, making them a fast, convenient option for any roofline replacement. We are happy to help with answering your questions regarding the type and length of cover board you may need.
Cover boards should be fixed using 2 x 50mm Polytop Nails no further than 600mm apart. (This becomes 400mm when using woodgrain boards).
All profiles are 5m lengths unless otherwise stated.
